There is road construction going on at Westgate Rd. and Hwy 231. Traffic is down to one lane. There is also road construction just south of Ozark in the Northbound lanes. The courtroom in the Geneva county courthouse was packed today with people who were there to hear Eddie Ingram give a speech about illegal drugs. He went in depth about meth, ecstasy, cocaine, and marijuana, and what the outcome of someone who uses those drugs is. He said more than 16 million Americans use illegal drugs monthly. Poplar Head Farmers Market
I went to the Poplar Head Farmers Market that was in the Dothan Civic Center parking lot on Saturday morning from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. There was several tents set up with local produce, grains, organic milk, grass-fed beef, honey, jewelry, and pottery. All of the produce was absolutely gorgeous. There was squash, peppers, peas, tomatoes, corn, blueberries, eggplant, and many more varieties of vegetables and fruit. I also had to try a cup of the blueberry lemonade, which was delicious....

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 26th at 1:00 p.m., Stringer Street AME Church, Dothan. Interment will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Dothan with military honors.
