The body that was found near a drain pipe off County Road 4 which is better known as Goathill Road was 55 year old Alvaro Anunez, a Hispanic male. Geneva County Coroner Max Motley pronounced Anunez dead at approximately 8 p.m. Sunday night. The victim suffered a fatal injury to his back. Wreck at W. Main St. and Ross Clark Circle
This morning at approximately 11:00 a.m. Dothan Police and Pilchers Ambulance were dispatched to a wreck at the intersection of West Main St. and Ross Clark Circle. It had traffic backed up for several blocks. Dothan Police had one of the westbound lanes of traffic blocked off until the wreckage was moved from the roadway. The quick response time by the Dothan Fire Department helped contain the fire to the oneapartment. Damage was mainly to the exterior front of the apartment and outdoor furniture on theporch. There has been three burglaries today just a few hours apart and all of them were within a mile of each other. The first one was on Battles Rd. in Rehobeth and the other two were on S. Park Ext. also in Rehobeth. The suspect was a white female, with short blond hair 5'2" tall, approx. 150-200 lbs., grey t-shirt and blue shorts. We do not know if she has been caught at this time. This afternoon about 4:30 the Houston County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to a fire at the Red Barn Flea Market on Highway 231 South. The fire started in a vehicle that was parked in a barn next to a residence in the same parking lot as the Red Barn Flea Market. The owner of the house and the car said he was driving the car when he started smelling gas so he went back home and parked in his barn/garage....

When the units arrived they saw light smoke coming from the back of a residence. After checking out the entire house, firefighters determined there was no fire.
