Two Vehicle Wreck on Montgomery Highway
Dothan Police and Dothan Fire responded to a 2 vehicle collision on Montgomery Highway in front of Mama Goldberg's. The wreck was between a silver VW passenger car and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It appears that the passenger car rear ended the Jeep. No one was transported to the hospital and there were no injuries. This afternoon about 1:50 p.m. Dothan Police and Dothan Fire responded to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center for reports that a car ran into the building. When they arrived, they learned that the car had almost completely ran into the front entrance/lobby. One person was transported to the hospital via Care Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The Houston County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant on Sunrise Drive just a little while ago, when they came across a device. The deputies exited the house immediately after finding the unknown device. They called the Dothan Police Department bomb unit and evacuated everybody within one thousand feet of the house. Three Burglaries Reported Since November 1st
There was two burglaries reported on November 1st, and one on November 3rd, two residential and one commercial. The first residential was in Avon Trailer Park which is in the 7100 block of Highway 84 East in Cowarts.The second residential was in the 5400 block of Judge Logue Road in Wicksburg. The suspect got away with about $700 in cash. The commercial burglary was in the 5700 block of County Road 203 in Rehobeth, at T&T grocery.Houston County Sheriff's Deputies...
