On December 20, 2010 the Dothan Police Department responded to a burglary in progress in the 1300 block of Chickasaw Street. Upon arrival, police learned an alert citizen was observing a suspicious person walking in between his neighbors’ vehicles but before he could call police, the suspicious man crossed into his yard, made entry into the garage and broke into his vehicle. The man went outside to confront the suspect who fled on foot. Police were given a description of the suspect and patrol officers saturated the area. An alert K9 officer saw a man matching the description of the suspect walking in between businesses on Montgomery Highway and detained him. The victim positively identified the suspect who was then arrested.
• Willie Lous Goshay, black male, 24 years of age, of North Oates Street was arrested and charged with Third Degree Burglary with a $2,500 bond.
