DALE COUNTY, Al. – Three Injured in Dale County Crash
Just before 5:30 pm at the intersection of highway 231 and Dale County Road 63, a grey Infinity SUV pulled across the intersection going north and crashed into a white Nissan Altima, injuring two severely.
The SUV pulled across the median and accelerated through the northbound lane, hitting the driver’s side of the Nissan Altima. Both cars flipped over several times before coming to a stop—the SUV on the street side and the Altima across the embankment.
The driver of the SUV, Jordan Hubbart, 20, who was in the passengers seat when the car came to a stop, said he did not see the car coming down 231. Hubbart had severe injuries to his shoulder and some minor scrapes. The driver of the Altima, a middle-aged woman suffered head injuries and had a gash on her arm and was trapped in the car until paramedics and the Dale County Fire Department pulled the door loose—the teenage daughter, Brianna, was shaken but seemingly uninjured.
All victims were taken by to Southeast Alabama Medical Center for further examination.
