UPDATE at 5:50 p.m.: Early Morning Shooting in Pansey
PANSEY: This morning at around 5:40, deputies were summoned to a residence on Whitaker Road in Pansey. The caller advised that the victim had been shot twice and was laying in the yard. Deputies responded to the scene and quickly set up a perimeter. Ashford Rescue and Pansey Fire responded to the scene, and the victim was transported to a local hospital. DOTHAN: Dothan Fire Engine 8 and Dothan Police responded to the scene of a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of John D. Odom and West Main Street. The accident occurred in the East-bound lane just before the intersection, in front of the Sony plant. Traffic had to be diverted into one lane to get around the wrecked vehicles. COWARTS: Cowarts Fire responded to an accident at the intersection of East Highway 84 and N. Broad Street next to Ronnie's Clothing Store early this evening. According to one of the drivers, the truck was coming across 84 when he struck the white Lincoln Town Car in the passenger rear quarter-panel.
