Motorcycle Gets Laid Down on Hartford Highway
(DOTHAN): At roughly 7:45 Thursday morning, Dothan Police Department, Dothan Fire Department and CARE Ambulance were dispatched to Hartford Highway just outside the circle to respond to a motorcycle accident. Upon arriving it was learned that the motorcyclist had laid down his bike at a low rate of speed. CARE Ambulance took the driver to a local hospital due to some abrasions and contusions. At approximately 12:28 on Saturday afternoon, the Dothan Communications Canter received a call of an accident involving a motorcycle in the 1500 block of Montgomery Highway near Denton Road. The original call went out as a motorcycle versus a Tahoe; however, there was no Tahoe on scene when Dothan Eye News arrived. The driver of the Harley had to be taken to the hospital due to injuries sustained in the accident, though his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening....
