This afternoon about 4:30 the Houston County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to a fire at the Red Barn Flea Market on Highway 231 South. The fire started in a vehicle that was parked in a barn next to a residence in the same parking lot as the Red Barn Flea Market. The owner of the house and the car said he was driving the car when he started smelling gas so he went back home and parked in his barn/garage....

WICKSBURG: Wicksburg Fire and Rescue has been dispatched to the scene of a structure fire at on State Highway 123 next to Wicksburg High School. The structure is described as a single-story wooden dwelling, with heavy smoke and flames visible from the rear of the residence. All occupants have been evacuated from the residence at this time. WEBB: Webb Fire is responding to the scene of a structure fire on Highway 52, just east of the intersection of County Road 55. Reports are that there is still at least one person still inside. The person trapped is said to be blind and mentally challenged. Units with Webb Fire, Columbia Fire and Columbia Rescue, and Ashford Fire are en-route arriving on scene at this time. DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to the scene of structure fire at 409 Virginia Drive just off of South Park Ave on Sunday afternoon. According to officials, the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen area when the residents left something cooking on the stove. We are currently on the scene and will update shortly. Update: Upon arrival units found there was no active fire to the structure.
